The rules as passed on by Arwedd
I am going to begin by telling you 11 things;
- I secretly wish I could live on a little small holding and spend my days tending animals and a vegetable plot. Obviously the rose coloured glasses I view this ideal have allowed for lots of time to sit in the sun enjoying the scenery whilst sewing/crocheting/knitting
- I come from a large family and have 6 siblings (which means a lot of nieces/nephews!)
- I like the idea of a regular exercise routine but I struggle to stick to it without a competitive goal to achieve at a pre-determined point.
- I am saving to be able to take the children to Disneyland next Christmas- shh don't tell them!
- I get far too excited when I have a surprise for someone that I nearly always spoil it! I don't mean to it just happens! LOL
- I forget everything! I have to have lists o lists of lists in order to get anything done!
- I am very competitive, housework is done by trying to be an alarm set.
- I daydream far too much! I would achieve lots more if I could rein this in.
- I found my first (3) grey hairs recently and am devastated!
- I LOVE the snow and can never wait for it to arrive
- I am scared of the dark so much so that I often leave my bedside lamp on to go to sleep!

Hi Sarah, thanks for the tag! I have already written 11 fun-filled facts about myself for this game (and I struggled to think of that many, haha), so here's the link to those: http://the-frugal-graduate.blogspot.co.uk/2012/10/getting-to-know-you-and-me.html
ReplyDeleteAs for your questions:
If money was no object would you move home, if yes where too? - If it were really no object I would live in Cornwall forever! :) I am currently living in Bristol working towards a PhD though, since I still need to be able to get a job!
Where is the most interesting place you have visited? I spent two weeks living in a tent in a rainforest at the top of a mountain in Tanzania. We were teaching English to a primary school class (and their teachers!)
How many of the things on your to do list do you actually manage to do in the allotted time? Ummm.. I usually complete most things, but that's because I have some easy ones in there to make myself feel better! I use rememberthemilk.com to keep track at work/uni.
What was your favourite story as a child? Stanley Bagshaw and the Twenty Two Foot Whale. It's set in the north of England, and my Dad used to put on hilarious lancashire accents to read it to us. :) When I was older, probably the Narnia stories, especially the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
Who is the person you remember idolising as a child? My parents. I still do. Mum is always right and Dad is the font of nearly all general knowledge!
Laminate floor or carpets? A nice deep carpet, but laminate in preference to cheap-o carpets!
What is your favourite dessert? Cheesecake!!
What job did you always want to do as a child? and do you do it now? I remember when I was about 5 I wanted to be a farmer. Now I research barley, so I am kind of close, haha.
Is there one thing would you like to change about your life? I would love to live in the countryside. I am not a city person.
What is your favourite past time? Sewing and blogging. If I am back in Cornwall I like to walk the coast path with my Mum. :)
What is your favourite season of the year? I always think autumn, but then when it rolls around I look forward to winter, then spring, then summer, then autumn, so basically whatever season's next! :)
Good questions. Your facts about yourself sound like me! I would love a small holding (but am probably idealising it too!), I have to have a to-do list, and I LOVE SNOW! :D I found my first grey hair aged 15 though (blame mother!), and now they're already out of control - I'm only 23!!
Hi thanks for answering.
ReplyDeleteI'm a lucky person in my family with the grey hair, most other females go grey in their early 20's so I do have a good 10 years on them. But I liked being the only one with my natural ahir colour still! LOL
I loved the lion the witch and the wardrobe.
Off now to check out your previous answers, and to see what remember the milk is, sounds like something I may need! lol
